About Dialogue Direct

In 1995, Austrian company DialogDirect revolutionized fundraising by creating a new approach to donor recruitment through face-to-face street communication and interaction. The concept, now known in the U.S. as a ‘dialogue’, immediately proved to be effective in both donor enlistment and education. As a result the face-to-face approach was rolled out across several countries in Europe, resulting in the formation in 1997 of a holding company, DialogDirect International. In June of 2003 DialogueDirect Inc began operating across the United States and currently operates eight self-contained city campaigns with support provided by Headquarters in New York. Cities where DialogueDirect conducts campaigns include: Chicago, Austin, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, Portland and Los Angeles.

In 2005 The Dialog Group expanded to Australia with the launch of MonDial Fundraising Communications, offering telephone based supporter development solutions and the purchase of an established organization specializing in face-to-face fundraising that was restructured and rebranded to become Face2Face Fundraising Australia.

In 2006 The Dialog Group launched Face2Face Fundraising Germany and moved its international headquarters to Ireland, where it is now known as TDGI Ltd trading as The Dialog Group International. In the same year Passion for Planet (P4P) was established in Australia. P4P is a purpose driven business working in the environmental sector to reduce climate change and using face to face communication to mobilize the public to take action.

Currently DialogueDirect works exclusively with Children International, a non profit specializing in international poverty relief through Child Sponsorship programs. Past clients include Save the Children, Oxfam, Plan, Care, and North Shore Animal League.
